The University now invites applications for the Research Project “The Impacts of Heterogeneous Maintenance Actions on Aircraft Routing Problems in regard to Airline Operations Reliability and Profitability”, funded by Research Grants Council.

• possess a Doctoral Degree in Operations Research, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; 
• have a keen interest in artificial intelligence and data analysis;
• preferably be good at mathematical modelling and optimisation algorithm;
• be proficient in at least one computer programming language (e.g. Java, Python, etc.); and
• preferably possess experience in aircraft maintenance and aircraft routing problem.
