The University now invites application for the following position:

• review and update security documents such as policies and guidelines;
• assess risks on applications, systems, networks and adopt security measures in a balance manner for risk mitigation;
• audit and run tests on systems and infrastructure to identity possible issues;
• ensure digital assets adequately protected, effectively monitored and managed;
• provide latest updates on information security to general users to increase their awareness; and
• explore suitable information security technologies that can better safeguard the information in the university. 

• possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline;
• possess updated and relevant qualifications such as CISM, CISSP, CEH, ISO27001;
• preferably have at least 10 years of relevant work experience;
• have proven records in information security and system auditing in application, networks and system level;
• have good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• be pleasant with positive mindset, good customer sense and willing to learn new technologies.

The appointee will be required to work during non-office hours.  Work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.  Applicants with fewer years of experience could be considered as Senior Information Security Officer.
