Executive Officer – School of Translation and Foreign Languages
(Ref: EO (STFL) 2021-04-30)

Responsibilities
  • assist the Academic Manager in managing the School’s academic programmes;
  • assist in the admission exercises of the School;
  • organise exhibitions, seminars, events and conferences for the School;
  • assist in leading the production of marketing materials for the School such as websites, booklets, pamphlets, etc.;
  • liaise with Schools/ Departments/ Offices, and work closely with other academic divisions and teams for the School’s administration; provide secretarial service to various committees of the School; and
  • coordinate the operation of the School’s Business Translation Centre. 

 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Translation or related disciplines;
  • have at least 3 years’ working experience preferably in the education sector;
  • have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • have good organisational and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and be proficient in computer skills; and
  • be a team player, responsible, meticulous and self-motivated.

Applicant with less years of experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Officer.
