Executive Assistant – School of Communication
(Ref: EA (SCOM) 2021-04-30)

Responsibilities

The appointee is expected to provide executive support mainly for operation and administration of the Master of Arts in Strategic Communication programme.

 

Responsibilities:

  • assist in planning, organising and handling marketing activities, admission exercises, student affairs and day-to-day management of the programme;
  • co-ordinate various programme-related activities and student events;
  • work closely with module instructors to support programme delivery;
  • liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the provision of high-quality programme services; and
  • perform school-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree;
  • have at least 1 year of relevant work experience;
  • be self-motivated and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • have a service-oriented mindset with good marketing sense;
  • possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • have a very good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Putonghua;
  • be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
  • have experience in dealing with Mainlanders/Mainland students; and
  • be willing to travel to Mainland China.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.  Applicants with work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
