Senior Careers Officer / Careers Officer – Student Affairs Office
(Ref: SCO/CO (SAO) 2021-04-01)

Responsibilities
  • manage university career initiatives independently, with priority in:
    • soliciting employment opportunities for students and implementing local, overseas and mainland internship programmes;
    • organizing mentorship programmes
    • conducting training and career advisory sessions to students on areas including industry-specific insights;
  • assist in organising University-wide career events;
  • foster effective collaboration with employers, professional bodies, academic departments and other stakeholders; and
  • administer survey exercises on graduates, students, employers and others.

 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or above relevant working experience at executive level, preferably in career services, human resources, student programme management in tertiary institutions;
  • be multi-tasking and attentive to details;
  • possess good communication, interpersonal and project management skills;
  • have a strong passion in student development with positive work attitudes; and
  • have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Applicants with work experience in both commercial (especially accounting and finance) and the higher education sector will be an advantage. Occasional offshore work travel maybe required. Candidates with ample relevant experience will be considered as Senior Careers Officer.
