Department of Social Science – Assistant Professor (Full-time)

Responsibilities

The Department seeks an outstanding applicant for the planning and development of an undergraduate programme in Psychology.  The appointee will be responsible for teaching courses in psychology and human behaviour.  He / She will also be involved in programme management, scholarly and administrative activities of the Department / School / University.

 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a PhD degree in psychology and related disciplines;
  • have substantial post-doctoral teaching experience in Psychology in a university setting;
  • have a proven research record or potential for scholarly research and publications;
  • demonstrate an ability to oversee the development of one or more of the following specialisations: (a) psychology of technology and (b) psychology of neuroscience and healthy; and
  • preferably have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Applicants with extensive experience in programme development, management and validation would be a definite advantage.
