The University now invites application for the following position(s):

Appointees will be responsible for teaching one or more modules in the following list:

• COM2007 Database Management System and Data Warehousing

• This module trains students with practical skills in database management system and introduces important concepts in data warehousing. It covers SQL, business intelligence in data warehouse (e.g., pre-processing and OLAP), visualization and reporting, GUI interface, programming interface, etc.

• COM1009 Computer Ethics

• It covers definition of computer ethics, examples and applications, privacy in the Internet age, intellectual property, ethical use of computer systems, etc.

• COM1002 Cyber Technology and Society

• It explores how cyber technology affects the modern society in various aspects. It covers history and development of cyber technology, social networking, impact of cyber technology, privacy in the Internet age, intellectual property in the cyber world, etc.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree or above in related disciplines. Relevant teaching experience at university level is preferred.  Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree and strong industrial experience in relevant fields will also be considered.
