The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Research Project “Impacts of Dependent Flight Delay on Cabin Crew Pairing Reliability in Airlines”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):

The appointee will work with the project leader in conducting research and development projects.

• possess a doctoral degree in Operations Research, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; 
• have a keen interest in artificial intelligence and data analysis;
• have good knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimization algorithm;
• be proficient in at least one computer programming language (e.g. Java, Python, etc.); and
• preferably possess experience in airline crew scheduling problem.
