The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Research Project “Development of renewable energy for decarbonising and modelling sustainable transport and logistics operations in smart cities of the Greater Bay Area”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):

 

Senior Research Assistant – Department of Supply Chain and Information Management

Responsibilities
 
The appointee will assist in the development of the renewable energy for sustainable transport and logistics and lifecycle analysis. He/she will support conducting research and development on i) hydrogen storage materials; ii) energy system design; iii) experimental set-up, testing, modelling and publication work.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognized MPhil or PhD degree in Materials Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • have at least 4-6 years of working experience in renewable energy research and development, materials science and carbon footprint or life-cycle assessment;
  • have self-motivated attitude, good interpersonal and organisation skills and good time-management skills; and 
  • have the ability to work under pressure, tight schedule and dynamic requirements.
