The University now invites application for the following position to work for the Research Project “Social Media, Public Opinion and Governance in Digital Era”, funded by the Public Policy Research Scheme (PPR):

 

Research Assistant – School of Communication

Responsibilities

The appointee will assist in implementing a variety of research duties, including but not limited to data collection, data analysis, material search, organization of focus groups, report drafting, and other project related tasks.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognized Master’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communication or other Social Science disciplines;
  • preferably have at least one year’s working experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including the use of SPSS;
  • be self-motivated and have good time-management skills;
  • have a good command of written English and Chinese; and
  • possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
