The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Research Project “Smart Space - Intelligent Smart Cities Management and IoT Analytics”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):

 

Research Assistant / Project Assistant (Part-time) – Policy Research Institute of Global Supply Chain
(Ref: RAPA (PRISC – RMGS/GH/19) 2020-03-13)

Responsibilities
  • conduct the literature reviews on smart cities management and IoT analytics;
  • design the IoT infrastructure for data collection;
  • conduct data analytics under IoT environment; and
  • perform ad-hoc activities related to research project.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess bachelor degree in logistics engineering, industrial and systems engineering, or related disciplines;
  • have at least 2 years’ experience on conducting research;
  • have strong programming skills and familiarity with Matlab; and
  • be able to perform a good team player in the research and data analytics.
