The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Project “Establishment of the Centre for Greater China Studies for the interdisciplinary research in humanities and social sciences”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC).
Research Assistant – Centre for Greater China Studies

- collect and process research data;
- draft research plans; and
- provide support to research and academic events organized by the Centre.
- possess a bachelor’s degree or above in China Studies or equivalent;
- be experienced in academic research and interested in China Studies;
- have a good command of English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Mandarin);
- have good organizational and communication skills;
- be familiar with MS office and Chinese word processing;
- be able to work independently; and
- be required to work on weekends or irregular hours occasionally.
