The University now invites applications for the following position to work in the Research Project “The evolutionary trend of international income inequality: an analysis of decomposition and transitional dynamics”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):

 

Research Assistant – Department of Economics and Finance

Responsibilities
 
The appointee will assist in implementing a variety of research duties, including but not limited to, conducting analysis on economics and finance, data compilation, programing, as well as some documentation jobs.
 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognized degree, preferably with a Master’s degree or above, and have relevant academic research experience related to economics and finance;
  • have solid experience in programming and be able to work with Matlab and Stata;
  • be familiar with research in economics and finance;
  • have a CFA membership, engineering/mathematics degree is a plus; and
  • have industry practical research experience in real estate and financial sector will be an advantage.
