School of Translation – Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (Full-time)

Responsibilities

The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Translation (Business and Legal), including but not limited to bilingual legal drafting, forensic linguistics, court interpreting, legal systems in the Greater China area, legal and commercial translation, and/or translation theories and linguistics.   

 

 

Applicants Should

For Assistant Professor applicants, s/he should possess a Doctoral Degree with a proven track record of research, teaching and/or professional service. S/he is expected to assist in programme development and engage in research, scholarly and administration activities.

 

For the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer, applicants possessing a master’s degree with substantial industry experience are preferred.
